REFEULLINGS
WATER
One of the main necessities of camper life is the supply of water.
Whenever possible it is important to fill up our water tank, even if we have consumed only 20 or 30 litres.
This is true in every season.
We use a lot of water in summer and the water that gushes out of fountains is often frozen in winter.
To load water easily it is necessary to have at one's disposal:
- A long water pipe or rather two or three water pipes to connect together;
- It is necessary to own several kinds of pipe fittings and joints.
Everything we need we can buy at the ironmonger's or gardening shop.
GAS
Many campers have a space for liquid gas cylinder, others, like New Florence Camper, have a gasholder.
A liquid gas cylinder can be replaced easily, if it is a widespread brand, but the alternative gasholder has these advantages:
There is a gas indicator inside the vehicle;
The gas mixture available at petrol pump is more suited for on board uses and freezes at an inferior temperature.
UNLOADING
The refluent waters (the so-called grey waters and black waters) must be discharged into a special manhole.
The pull-out tank for black waters makes the task easier.
