Front-wheel drive

Front wheel drive vehicles are very widespread.
The advantages are more habitable vehicles, very comfortable for the passengers seated in the back.
The driving agility and accuracy are unquestionable, especially evident on motorway.

The front wheel drive vehicle reveals its limits on uphill or mountain roads, on roads covered with snow or wet surfaces, but especially for the motor caravan and the motor home.
Campers, rarely, experience difficulty.

These problems are due to load concentration in the back.

The front wheel drive vehicle is preferable for short vehicles, not over 5.5 m.
It is possible with recent developments mechanics to get to 6 metres, without excessive loading in the back (bike holder etc.).
It is better to add air suspensions "to level "the vehicle correctly.

Rear-wheel drive

Rear wheel drive is preferable for large vehicle, because the adherence is better.
Motor caravans and motor homes have loading, mainly, in the back, where there are the tanks of refluent waters too.
This loading lightens the front axis of the vehicle.
The noise is greater and the comfort for the passengers seated in the back is lower.
The vehicle is a "little lorry", but very safe.
